Mariborski radio študent – Radio MARŠ

On World Radio Day 2021, MARŠ has prepared a special show, focused on Slovene music, reporting on the current state of affairs and minds, all packed in a classic tongue-in-cheek manner.

Radio MARŠ is student radio station from Maribor, Slovenia. Being established just before the Independence of Slovenia, it has been a strong voice for alternative and student population of second-biggest city in the country. Alongside its “older brother”, Radio Študent from Ljubljana, MARŠ is fighting for the legislative status of community radio, as the third media sector in Slovenia is yet to be established and secured.

MARŠ is focused on the cultural, educational, marginalised and alternative aspect of local, regional and global society. It is a platform for young, aspiring journalists and media workers, and a critical voice of Maribor.
