Unregelmäßig werden die sogenannten "Linux Demo Days" abgehalten. Besondere Tage für Linux - UserInnen, bei denen vor allem die neuesten Technologien im Linux-Bereich vorgestellt werden. Demonstriert wird, wie z.B. DVD-Player unter Linux mit Videobeamern funktionieren; Radio, TV und andere Multimediaanwendungen werden vorgeführt. Dazu gibt es das gesamte Spektrum von Anwendungen auf Linux und anderen Open Source Systemen im Server- und Workstation- Bereich zu sehen und auszuprobieren - von Proxy-Servern bis zu WWW-Chats. Da Spiele unter Linux ja bekanntlich auch auf dem Vormarsch sind werden u.a. Gaming-Zones für die BesucherInnen eingerichtet.
