INNEN & AUSSEN: ORTE UND RÄUME
Hörende sind eingeladen, sich entlang akustischer Szenerien zu bewegen: jeweils an unterschiedlichen Orten und Räumen gelesen, gesungen und/oder musiziert und für die Ausstrahlung bei poetologische ortungen nebeneinander oder (als Übergang) übereinander geschichtet. So könnte – mit Hilfe des hörenden Publikums- das Material zu etwas Raumerzeugendem wachsen.
Diese akustischen Elemente, zum Beispiel Treppen, Gänge etcetera umfassend, könnten sich in Richtung urteilsfreier Raum bewegen, den Moment der Einheit anstrebend.
INSIDE & OUTSIDE: PLACES AND SPACES
Listeners are invited to move through various acoustic sceneries in each case read, sung and/or played within different places or spaces which are then layered transitionally on top of each other for the purposes of the poetological investigations broadcast. In this way – with the help of the listening audience – the acoustic material is potentially able to grow into something space-generating.
These acoustical elements include for example stairs, corridors etc and thus move along the direction of non-judgmental spaces, and in the fortunate case – as a state of motionless thought – may even encourage moments of unity.
* the performance of Charyapada songs (ancient Buddhist Mystik songs) has become almost extinct after the 11th century. Currently, Srijoni Tanias primary field of interest is the revival of this ancient Bengali Buddhist Mystic songs. For the Recording she performs Charyapada 11[1] followed by Wally Re´s text about breath[2]. Breath as THE Framework of all meditational and/or spiritual works.

Peter Hodina
Am Neujahrstag 1963 in Salzburg geboren. Er lebt und arbeitet als Autor in Berlin, Salzburg und Wien. Vorträge zu Jean Améry, Thomas Bernhard, Bertolt Brecht, Ferdinand Ebner, Pawel Florenski, Witold Gombrowicz, Hermann Hesse, Ludwig Hohl u.a. Preisträger beim 6. Harder Literaturwettbewerb (2000). 2001 Geschmolzener Apokalypso der Versuchsstation für den Weltuntergang, Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg. 2004 Rauriser Förderungspreis. Seit 2007 Mitglied der Grazer AutorinnenAutorenversammlung (GAV). Buchveröffentlichungen: Steine und Bausteine 1-3 (Trilogie), Berlin: Avinus, 2009-2014. Sadhika Srijoni Tania is a Baul practitioner from Bangladesh and renowned performer of various song traditions of South Asia. For as long as she can remember, she has observed a Baul lifestyle characterized by wearing white clothing and the practice of Baul song. This early involvement with Baul spirituality and song owes to the influence of her own family members.
Srijoni has performed at numerous local, national, and international events including those organized by the Government of Bangladesh, the Bangla Academy of Dhaka, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, several Bangladeshi universities, various district based literary festivals and many traditional Baul events. Dr. Saymon Zakaria is currently her companion for yogolsadhana, and the two Baul practitioners often present together. Most recently, she presented at in the University of Chicago’s Interwovensymposium entitled “Interwoven Histories of Bengali Modernism,” and the 2023 Dhaka International Lit Fest.

geb 1968 lebt in Salzburg und auf Reisen, vorwiegend nach Asien. Studium der Kommunikationswissenschaften in Salzburg. **Der Titel ist inspiriert von Manfred Wakolbingers Sculptur CONNECTION (2011) in Salzburg, einer der Aufnahmeorte mit Peter Hodina, vom aussen ins innen hineinlesend. Aus der Beschreibung der Salzburg Foundation heißt es: ” Und erst der Betrachter vollendet das Werk. Durch die hermetische Oberfläche außen und durch die Spiegelung im Inneren“, so Manfred Wakolbinger, „entsteht ein Gegensatz, der sich auflöst, wenn der Betrachter durch sein Spiegelbild im Inneren zu einem Teil der Skulptur wird.“ In diesem Sinne gestalten die Hörenden Teile des Hörraums mit.
The title is inspired by Manfred Wakolbinger’s sculpture CONNECTION (2011) in Salzburg, one of the recording locations with Peter Hodina, reading from the outside into the inside. The description of the Salzburg Foundation says: ” And only the viewer completes the work. Through the hermetic surface on the outside and through the reflection on the inside,” says Manfred Wakolbinger, “a contrast is created that dissolves when the viewer becomes a part of the sculpture through his reflection on the inside.” In this sense, the listeners create parts of the listening space.

The tabor of the mystic sound (anāhata) rings in heroic noise. Kānha, the Kāpāli yogin, entered into preaching.

The sun and the moon were made ear-rings as ornaments. Taking the ashes of lust hatred and illusion (in his body) he obtains the pearl necklace (or supreme salvation).
