Die zunehmende Globalisierung in Ökonomie und Politik braucht internationale Zusammenarbeit im unabhängigen Medien- und Contentbereich. Formate, Softwarelösungen und Kommunikationswege für den internationalen Programm- und Contentaustausch: Teilnehmer des Hörfestivals der Freien Radio-Verbände der Schweiz, Deutschlands und Österreichs, Content-Anbieter im Internet aus dem Kunst- und Kulturbereich sowie Vertreter unabhängiger Medien- und Informationsnetzwerke (u.a. Indymedia) diskutieren und präsentierten die verschiedenen Ansätze und Lösungen. Als Testreihe für einen internationalen Kunst- und Kulturkanal unter Anwendung von Streaming-Technologien und der Verknüpfung verschiedener Audio-Datenbanken wird live während der ARS ELECTRONICA 2001 vom Team von radioqualia ein Cultural Channel aufgesetzt. Der Cultural Channel wird von So. 2. bis Mi. 5. September täglich von 0:00 bis 2:00 live auf dem Programm von LT1 zu empfangen sein. Streaming-workshops und spezielle Führungen geben darüber hinaus einen Einblick in die praktische Arbeit mit Audio- und Videostreaming-Technologien.

Globalisation in politics and economy makes international cooperation in the free media and conten sector an urgent necessity: Formats, software solutions and communication routes for international program and content exchange: Participants from the Audio Festival of the Free Radio Associations of Switzerland, Germany and Austria, different content providers and representatives from independent media networks (such as Indymedia) will discuss and present different solutions and approaches. As test run for an international art and culture channel making use of streaming technologies and the link-up of various audio databanks a cultural channel will be set up during the ARS ELECTRONICA Festival 2001. The Channel will be broadcasted on LT1 (Sun. 2. till Wed. 5. of September, 0:00 till 2:00 AM) Streaming workshops and guided tours will give an insight in practical work with software systems and video- and audiostreaming technologies.
